This Breville Juicer is a centrifugal unit and even though it operates at very high rpm there is very little heat added to the juice output. The resulting juice is cool to taste and there is no nutrient degradation from exposure to heat. The metal screen filter must be kept clean as after several pounds of juicing the screen can get clogged and no juice will pass through.
